Eat Seasonal !

I always wanted to find a good calendar for fruits and vegetables. After long researches I finally found the most interactive and easy to use.

Prioritizing seasonal fruits and vegetables will only brings you benefits.


1.You  will reduce your food budget. Abundant seasonal products are cheaper than imported out of season fruits or vegetables sent from the over side of the world.
2. Seasonal fruits and vegetables have more taste. “Foods lose flavor just as they lose moisture when they are held. Fresh, locally harvested foods have their full, whole flavors intact, which they release to us when we eat them,” explains Susan Herrmann Loomis, owner of On Rue Tatin Cooking School in France and author of numerous cookbooks.

3. You will  make a contribution  to gas reduction

A food product that is harvested early in order to arrive mature to its destination point will never grow the same nutriments as the same food product harvested when mature. In addition,  fruits and vegetable transported on long distance need irradiation (zapping the produce with a burst of radiation to kill germs) and preservatives (such as wax) to protect the produce which is subsequently refrigerated during the trip.
