Minestrone of fruits with elderflower – salade de fruits au sirop de sureau

I like a good fruit salad for breakfast. It´s simple to make ad allows you to use up your remaining. As I am on a very strict diet I am not allowed to consume sugar. ( I have been diagnosed with PCOS syndrome). Elderflower has a very delicate taste, very floral and subtile. I chose to add a few  drops of vanilla essence as well and a few leaves of basilicum.  Kiwi, nectarines, bananas,maybe some melon or grapes are perfect.

I made this elderflower juice this summer with flowers I picked up in Møllebukte i Stavanger – where I lve in Norway-. In french elderflower is called sureau.
