home made oat milk

Ingredients :

  • a liter of water
  • a spoon of agave syrup or coconut sugar
  • one pinch of salt
  • 100 grams of jumbo oats

Add oats and water with the agave syrup/ or coconut sugar and salt, blend it for 1 minute and makes pauses if necessary if the blender is too weak. At the end of the process, there will be a depot of oats. Strain the liquid. ( you can use it to make your bread or thicken a soup).

tips :

the most important in this recipe is to have a strong enough blender. If your blender is a little bit weak, make pauses while mixing.

The milk is better after a day in the fridge but do not keep it more than 3-4 days.
